I'm set to participate in the Dirty Girl Mud Run on September 7! As a Blogger Ambassador, I'll be posting lots of pics and details from the race, as well as trying to support and promote it as much as possible. The Dirty Girl is a 5K obstacle course for women of all abilities. This will be my first mud run, first obstacle course, and first time as a Blogger Ambassador. I'm really looking forward to it!

From the website: "Run, walk, climb, crawl—you will experience it all in this adventure race. With adventure obstacle course names like H2OMG and PMS (Pretty Muddy Stuff), you can expect to laugh until your cheeks hurt. But don't worry, if you get to an obstacle that's more than a challenge for you—hey, take one of the adventure races detours. Also expect safety throughout. Expect the fun obstacle course runs competition to go on rain or shine. Expect not to be timed on the adventure runs. Expect some crazy team uniforms. Expect to put your mud run training to the test. Expect to leave with an overwhelming sense of accomplishment."

Dirty Girl is a nationwide event! My local race is September 7, at the Battle Grounds in Wright City, a short drive from St. Louis. The race is untimed, and it's all about getting together with your fellow Mud Runners and cheering each other on! At the finish line, there will be adult beverages and lots of fun! You'll be helping out a great cause as well: Dirty Girl supports the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
The entry fee is $85.00, but as a special treat from the organizers, I'm able to offer my readers a discount! When you register, enter the code DGSTLBLOGGUEST and receive 20% off the entry fee! Your fee not only gets you into the run, but you get a Dirty Girl t-shirt, a silhouette charm, entertainment, and the most fun you'll have in the mud!
Check out the fun other women are having at the Dirty Girl Blog!
